The Elephant Award was created by GOPButtons.com to recognize websites which embody the Republican spirit in America. Republican based websites of all opinions are welcome. All websites which meet the following criteria may be awarded "The Elephant Award".

1. The website must contain issues, information, products, ideas, editorials, etc related to the Republican Party or its core platform. This includes Organization, candidate, personal, commercial and club websites.

2. The website must NOT contain voilent content, adult material or advertisements for similar material. The website may not contain foul language.

3. No website may contain statements or negative material designed to damage the credibility or reputation of another Republican (following the beliefs fo President Ronald Reagon).

4. The website should contain material deemed a benefit to the Republican Party, the public or individual party members.

5. Must be willing to display the award graphic on the home page or an award section of the website.

6. Applications are acceptable from webmasters and third parties.

7. The website must load with reasonable speed and operate on a 24/7 basis.

Applications can take up to two weeks to process.
